Today is August 5th 2018, the first weekend in August 2018. This weekend's recipe is Sayur Lodeh. Vegetables can be cooked in various ways, one of the variation is cooked with coconut milk or commonly called lodeh. Lodeh use several kinds of vegetables. I use melinjo leaves, melinjo beans, corn, carrots, long beans and purple eggplant. But the type of vegetable can be replaced or combined according to what are available, can also use unripe jackfruit, unripe papaya, chayote or add tempeh. This lodeh tastes rather sweet and more delicious if served with chili paste, the recipe is as follows:
Ingredients :
1 piece of corn
50 grams of melinjo leaves
100 grams of melinjo beans
10 long beans
1 purple eggplant
1 carrot
5 red chili
3 cloves of shallot
2 cloves of garlic
1 tomato
1 lemongrass
2 bay leaves
500 ml of water
500 ml of coconut milk
Salt
Steps :
- Prepare all ingredients.
- Cut all vegetables except melinjo fruit
- Chop chilies, shallots, garlic and tomatoes
- Boil water, add melinjo and corn until half cooked, add other vegetables, chilies, shallots, garlic, tomatoes, lemongrass, bay leaves and salt, cook for a moment, add coconut milk while stirring, cook again until the vegetables are slightly wilted.
- Ready to serve

Hari ini 5 Agustus 2018 , akhir pekan pertama di bulan Agustus 2018. Resep akhir pekan kali ini adalah Sayur Lodeh. Sayur bisa dimasak dengan berbagai macam variasi, salah satunya dimasak dengan santan atau biasa disebut lodeh. Sayur lodeh menggunakan beberapa macam sayur. Saya menggunakan daun melinjo, buah melinjo, jagung, wortel, kacang panjang dan terong ungu. Namun jenis sayur dapat diganti atau dikombinasikan sesuai persediaan, dapat juga menggunakan nangka muda, pepaya muda, labu siam atau menambahkan tempe. Sayur lodeh ini rasanya agak manis dan lebih nikmat jika disajikan dengan sambal terasi, resepnya adalah sebagai berikut :
Bahan-bahan :
1 buah jagung
50 gram daun melinjo
100 gram buah melinjo
10 buah kacang panjang
1 buah terong ungu
1 buah wortel
5 buah cabai merah
3 siung bawang merah
2 siung bawang putih
1 buah tomat
1 batang serai
2 lembar daun salam
500 ml air
500 ml santan
Garam secukupnya
Cara Membuatnya :
- Siapkan semua bahan.
- Potong-potong semua sayuran kecuali buah melinjo
- Rajang cabe, bawang merah, bawang putih dan tomat
- Didihkan air, rebus buah melinjo dan jagung hingga setengah matang, masukkan sayur lainnya, cabe, bawang, tomat, serai, daun salam dan garam masak sesaat, masukkan santan sambil diaduk, masak lagi hingga sayur agak layu.
- Angkat dan siap
