Spesso si sottovaluta l'importanza della disciplina, nella pratica quotidiana, misi questo post con questa foto su Facebook con la seguente scritta

non ci crederete 31.000 "mi piace" , 65.603 condivisioni, decine di messaggi di consenso ed altrettanti messaggi di dissenso e solo 16 commenti pubblici, ma nessuno ha però capito il vero senso del mio post.
Tutti si sono concentrati sui ciclisti, le loro esperienze su strada con questi sportivi che per un motivo o per un altro percorrendo le strade uno accanto all'altro impedivano di poterli agevolmente sorpassare magari alla guida della propria auto, tutto vero per carità, ma il vero centro del mio post non era il voler accusare una categoria di sportivi ma volevo porre l'attenzione sulla disciplina che quella foto nella sua semplicità voleva dire.
Disciplina significa : Dominio dei propri istinti, impulsi, desideri, perseguito con sforzo e sacrificio; sottomissione volontaria. Ma anche : Il complesso di norme che regolano la vita di una collettività, spec. religiosa, scolastica, militare; l'osservanza senza riserve di tali norme: mantenere, far rispettare la disciplina.; osservare, violare la disciplina.
Le mucche che percorrevano quella strada erano mucche disciplinate, perchè magari il pastore aveva insegnato loro con molta disciplina, come mettersi in cammino, percorrendo una strada sicuramente ricca di pericoli. La disciplina di quel pastore forte della sua esperienza, trasmessagli forse da suo padre o chissà da chi, che a sua volta ha dimostrato di possedere quella conoscenza e quella disciplina che a sua volta qualcuno gli tramandò, ha fatto si che quelle mucche potessero percorrere quelle strade così come insegnatogli.
Ora,non so se avete mai cercato di insegnare ad una mandria di mucche come si percorre una strada ma sono sicuro che avrete insegnato qualcosa a qualcuno, magari anche di non molto importante e sono sicuro che nell'insegnare loro, avrete richiesto: fiducia, attenzione, rispetto e non ultimo la stretta osservanza delle regole. Cose che, anche se non tutte, vi potrebbero essere richieste durante la lettura magari di un manuale per la costruzione di un mobile componibile della IKEA.
La disciplina è il senso di quella foto, che nessuno è riuscito a leggere nella sua semplicità. Si sono tutti concentrati sulle mie parole, una battuta divertente per molti, scontata per altri e non capita dai ciclisti anzi osteggiata, eppure proprio i ciclisti sono una di quelle categorie che bene conoscono il valore dei sacrifici, l'importanza della dedizione e della disciplina proprio loro che avrebbero dovuto vedere in quelle mucche un simbolo educativo, non era un voler offendere qualcuno anzi era un affermazione che voleva porre l'attenzione su come sia possibile che un essere vivente senziente come l'essere umano con capisca come la disciplina non sia un obiettivo da raggiungere ma uno strumento da utilizzare.
