Identify (the metamorphosis of self)

We are born into what is happening to us. The moment we take our first breath, life begins, and we are given choices to determine who we are. From the voice of reason to the insanity of the exposure. Life begins, and we start our journey of identifying our place.

By default, we immediately begin attaching ourselves to all the labels and aspects that makes humans who they are. Almost instantly life takes us from a spiritual experience and launches us into the physical realm.

In the beginning, our path is determined for us, from the gender we appear to be, to the level of intelligence and health we display.

Our culture captures our sense of being and leads us to who we are, influencing us to our pre-determined identity.
What are we; are we the family we are born into, the geographical location we step into or are we our self-acknowledging sense?

Does our inherited intelligence provide us with the tools to survive well, or does our inherited knowledge, be it our language, give us the crystallized ability to be who we truly are?

A well to do child may be easily adjusted into society as their loved ones know it, but the child who is raised in what many would consider trouble-sum may learn to rebel out of the unintentional but necessary need to survive.

Be it, to be born into a class of privilege or otherwise, the stage is set, and the results are measured. A child will live as an empty vessel, soon becoming indistinguishable from the other who belong to his or her tribe.

In time, the identifiers will begin to slip away, between the adolescent years to the years of adulthood. At which point, the nature of the child begins a stage of life that inspires independence. Thus, the child will undoubtedly shed its layers of who he or she is in the eyes of the world. Slowly if not abruptly transcending from the past and into the future.

Changes need not be alarming nor, should we suppress. For no one has ever remained stagnant by force, but liberated by free will.

In the absence of conformity comes the process of transformation. We shall not impose our limiting views on others when the expansion of self-has ignited. What we should do and ultimately need to do in response is embrace the metamorphosis.

Nature is present in the moment the sunshine’s from within, for it is in that moment of growth that life realizes evolution and takes its rightful place as the new.

Bravery comes in many shades and colours, the courage to identify who you are, regardless of who others may believe you to be, is the courage of necessity.

A sincere message to the young;

Be comforted in knowing, you are declaring your rightful place among the kingdom of mankind, let no one or nothing stand in your way. You are who you have always been, from before your first breath to after your last.

Be fearless and free, for those who try and contain you shall one day see.
