Tat Show host William Williams told viewers Wednesday that she was taking time because of her struggles with Graves.
The host of "The Wendy Williams Show" made this announcement on his syndicate show, which takes three weeks to focus on her health on Thursday.
"My doctor suggested ... are you ready? By this day, a three-week holiday," she told the audience. "What? Who are you? I was pissed.
Graves disease is an autoimmune disorder that causes the overheating of the thyroid, which leads to bloated eyes, anxiety, fatigue, insomnia and elevated blood pressure, according to EndocrineWeb.com.
Williams spoke of his illness in the past, and in July suffered a peptic ulcer in her hair.
Williams has repeatedly canceled several shows announced on social media that she was experiencing flu-like symptoms. Her health has made headlines in recent months after her appearance on October 31 episode. At that time, she told the viewers that she had collapsed due to "overheat".
"I'll be back for two weeks," Williams joked at his show on Wednesday. "I'm not a heiress, who is going to pay my bills? Are you serious? I say, I came from the working class."
Williams' spokesman told CNN that she did not have a fill-host and she would reinvent the old episodes when she was not there.
