It is Wednesday again, it has been wet a lot this week. It seemed like every time I wanted to go out and have a little fun with my camera it was raining. It is almost December in Alaska and where I am it has been in the upper 30F to 40F degrees. It should be snowing not raining, not that I am complaining about the lack of snow mind you so much as the lack of sunlight and the abundance of rain. Most of my driveway is a sheet of ice, because even though it warms during the day and rains, the water goes nowhere, and then the rain stops before it gets to cold and turns to snow, so over night the water just sits there and freezes.
So with out any more complaining about the weather, and to show we do indeed have nice weather days in Alaska even if they are few and far in between seeming, here is proof of a nice day. This is an image of Suneva lake just north of Nikiski, Alaska on the way to Captain Cook park. This was taken with my Samsung smartphone on 7-5 of this year.
