WHALESHARES Fun Challenge: "What would you do if you could have your own whale token?"

in whaleshares •  7 years ago

Here's my entry for the challenge -

https://steemit.com/community/@officialfuzzy/whaleshares-fun-challenge-what-would-you-do-if-you-could-have-your-own-whale-token-whaleshare-prizes-inside

What would the purpose of it be? How would it be distributed? Would it need to be purchased? or could it be earned? Would you build a community around it? Or would it be a standalone token? You can even name the fictitious token if you would like.

Purpose - keep me from having to be employed at a meaningless dead-end job I wouldn't give two shits about while keeping me from being homeless.
I can build a solar powered data-center , or solar powered tech maker-space park w/data-center. You know, play with legos and build robots. Don't forget all the arduino / rasPI's there would be.

Distribution
purchased
earned
community
stand-alone

I still need to study these more , I was thinking about how could I back the token with some other asset that I have - so that there is more value than just 'me'.

Token Name
Old man token / or a Joe token / Carpenter token / Human token(for all humans)

I have a BTS account , so it wouldn't be too hard really I guess - just have to work out the details.

I'm stuck in this rut at the moment where my income is dog shit and almost all my time is spent chasing tiny dollars just to stay alive. Going on something like 6 weeks waiting for unemployment is bullshit.

Uggg - I gotta try to quit with the negative shit.

Day 83 of the year and I am adding mongodb to my first paid nodejs gig - It was only like $225 - but it is leading to adding more features to the project.
I only started with nodejs on Jan 2nd - so I guess that's something.

The easiest way to help the broke carpenter is an upvote and maybe a resteem.

The next best way is to sign up for the fucking fastest dex on the planet - bitshares - https://wallet.bitshares.org/?r=rxhector2k5

and there is always the good ol' just send it to a wallet

projects you may end up funding

  • better server

  • better network equipment (better switch/router)

  • better drives (need storage space on servers - thinking about a boinc node)

  • future servers/vms

  • need to run a bitshares node

  • need to run a steemit node

  • investigate eos

  • colocation = $650/mo

  • server = ????; (cluster @$5k/ea)

  • bills = $2k/mo

unemployment ain't gonna fix that

i got a few website/gamification ideas - but need to get network and nodes running better before jumping back to development environment

this exercise is happening for a reason. perhaps it is worth your time to investigate more before writing this post? it feels like maybe there a lot that you would learn that perhaps would help you write a post about what you would do with a whalecoin ;)
