✨ Back to Work - Celebrating My 46th Week on Steemit!

I took a few days off last week for a quick weekend vacation to Orlando with the family, but I'm back to work again. It was good to get away for a while, even though I did bring my tablet to stay connected with the community and take care of a few tasks as needed. It's difficult to totally let go when we have so much going on and I have so many responsibilities withing the team. After-all, we are just 30 days away from EOSIO launch, followed by Vice, Whaleshares, and Smoke Network. Things are happening... are you're Spidey Senses tingling yet?

Remember to join us in the Whaleshares Discord as more and more details are released about the upcoming projects and changes coming within the BeyondBitcoin and Whaleshares Communities. Opportunities are all around us in the cryptospace, blockchain technology is in it's infancy and everyone here today has a chance to get in on the ground floor.

The Whaleshares BETA platform continues to evolve as new features and functionality is built-in. We are giving everyone a chance to preview the new platform we are putting together and provide a channel for feedback in our Discord. Currently, this is a "closed beta", meaning that only team leaders and support groups from the Whaleshares, Bitshares, and EOS Communities are being given access the beta to test posting and other features as they get added on. However, we welcome you to start the sign-up process to reserve your username and be ready for the official launch.

To clear up a few points of confusion about the current TestNet status of the platform, I posted an update in discord (pinned in general chat) and in a Full Post over on Whaleshares. Please take moment to read that information as well.

As I have been saying for a while now, 2018 will be a great year for all of us willing to keep our eyes and options open. Thank you to everyone who helped make it another great week, my 46th here on Steemit.

As the official Community Coordinator for BeyondBitcoin / Whaleshares, I continue my efforts to prepare everyone the new projects and cross-chain partnerships beginning to take shape, oversee the weekly initiatives, contests and challenges, as well as the weekly live events and shows produced by our community. The Whaleshares BETA is up and running smoothly this week. Accounts access is currently limited to team leaders and support groups from the Whaleshares, Bitshares, and EOS Communities. Early access into the beta is to help test site functionality and features as they get added on.

The BitsharesTalk Forum BETA which works on the new Whaleshares chain was also launched this week. The forums give the Bitshares Community a place to post information on worker proposals, DEX updates, and bitshares compatible projects and tokens.

Please note: Both platforms are still in early "CLOSED BETA" testing and certain features/functionalities will be missing or turned on/off at various times for testing and upgrades.

The new Smoke Network TESTNet website has been launched and is available for everyone to check out. Account approval will be selective to those active in the Smoke Telegram, and all data/usernames/earnings are temporary for testing purposes and will be cleared before the official platform launch.

The OFFICIAL ICO Started on 4.20 (April 20th) and a big announcement was made regarding a change to the initial token distribution when the mainnet launches. Check out the website for more details.

📢 VICE Network

As VICE continues pushing towards it's release date on June 28, there seems to be a pause for rebranding or re-tooling of what the platform and services will be. There really hasn't been many announcements in the past 2 weeks other than a series of exchange listings for the pre-launch Vice Industry Token (ERC-20).

I have applied to be founding witness for the VICE blockchain and continue to help promote the platform where I can. I am eager to get started with VICE and see this project come to life over the next 6 weeks. I will continue to post updates as they are announced.

REMINDER: You have to keep your crowdfund tokens in your same ETH wallet in order to receive the 50% bonus. So if you move out tokens to sell in the pre-markets you will lose that bonus.

📢 DPORN.CO

DPorn has had some interesting developments over the last week. If you are a holder of the PORND tokens on the DEX you will notice a sharedrop of PORNDCLASSIC tokens to your account. Not much has been 'publicly' announced about this, only some leftover chat in discord. I did some asking around to get clarification on the matter and it turns out there was a fork of the DPorn chain/website already due to some internal issues with the main dev. Things seem to have been resolved within the community and the main beta site and tokens are under proper control and development is continuing. I welcome any information/clarification in the comments if this is not accurate.

PORND token rewards are starting to payout now, but you have to register your bitshares account with DPon in orde to receive benefits. If you have, you will also notice the first payouts have been issued.
