Matt, who is director of operations at Nestlé's Shredded Wheat factory in Wiltshire, shows co-presenter Jimmy Doherty how a single 'Shreddie' is made on Monday night's episode - but exactly how each strand of shredded wheat is knitted together remains a trade secret.
First the wheat - which is all British-grown - is cooked to soften it, before the grains are dried off in a special machine.
