Yes, that is true
in aceh Islamic Sharia law is strong and the alcoholic and intoxicating goods is forbidden by the Ulama-Ulama in aceh.
If there is an excess of caning in public as much as 100 times

Quiet master @rok-sivante, you need not be surprised about this. It's not what you imagine. Yes, although I do not know what you think about their explanation of Aceh. Aceh is tolerant, sharia law is applied only to Muslims only, not to non-Muslims. You can go to Aceh to enjoy the beauty of Pulau Weh, Sabang. For culture and law we just need to adjust it, and respect what is going on in Aceh. Not so scary and scary. believe me !!!

I’m not sure if you’ve mistranslated or misstepped there, but telling me “quiet” on my blog is definitely not something you want to do again.

A penalty of 100 canines in public for choosing to consume alcohol - which can be done in nearly every other country in the world, as part of one’s basic human rights to choose how they may experience their own body - does not exactly sound like “tolerance.”

Maybe not so bad for non-Muslims. But for those who are born Muslim...?

Denied such rights of personal choice - not that bad?

And if they don’t like it, they can just leave the Islamic faith...? Not from what I’ve heard. What is the penalty for that?

Still not so bad - born into a form of slavery to a repressive belief system, denied right to personal choice, faced with threat of violence if exercising personal choice...?

I dont think so. Islam lives by its religious rules and non-Muslims live with the rules of faith. Speaking of faith? Back to the man each how far he believes with what belief he has chosen. We ? as humans can only tolerate each other, respect and honor what has been their choice. How can we understand all this, and what exactly does human rights mean? how can we interpret the meaning of this sentence? Thanks for your respon @rok-sivante

If you will ask me, I would say quality over quantity always.

But, within the first sip, was the realization that it probably actually would be preferable to spend $100 on a truly good bottle of scotch, than the same amount on three cheap ones.

Reviews on food and wines couldn't really be separated from our personal bias based on background, interest or hobby. You might as well be right, someone else might find those whiskey quintessential.

As to the whiskey itself... the tones, the aromas, the lingering flavors... I don't fucking know!

No more cheap bottles. $50 minimum from hereon in.

Goes a long to interpret the first line on the summary, "you get what you paid for", yea! Sometimes its important to say that when i pay $50 to get a quality whiskey, i can't be compared to and second guy that will pay $25 to get one. Cash determines value.

Whiskey is classified into a khamar drink in aceh. Here drinking khamar will be caught by sharia police and caning punishment will be applied to anyone involved with the drink, ranging from merchant to buyer. It is inspiring, however, to see such a strong Steemit community growing there. Looking at the picture, bottle and the overall packaging of John Barr at first glance really caught my fancy I must confess, but reading down your write-up about it made me change my mind. So I guess one does not judge a book by the cover, but by it's content. I am a fan of whiskey especially during weekends, but to be truthful I don't have a particular brand, anything that taste good is fine by me.

But there is this one I bought the other day, America honey whiskey it was really cool but a little bit expensive down here. Whisky does boost my appetite, but I guess it is not so with everybody. I have taken note of the nice one you blogged about maybe someday when I am financially strong I will get to taste it. Thanks for sharing and do have a great weekend @rok-sivante.

American honey whiskey... guessing that’s probably the Jack Daniels and honey one. Kind of similar to the Sortilege - the American and Canadian version of a sweetened whiskey...

In Thailand we always drink Red Label, by far the WORST whiskey to party with. Ultimate hangover.

But it's cheap as shit!!! $80 for a bottle in a happening club.

Hey @rok-sivante
My @mrbloom account was unfortunately hacked yesterday afternoon and my rep of 55 ruined to -1...they took my SBD and tried to power down my SP which isn't a lot as I'm only a small account. Steemit has managed to get me up and running again just now, so I do apologise for the hundreds of spam comments all over the platform.
It's very annoying and frankly embarrassing, because if you look at my blog there is some good quality content which I spent hours creating, not to mention my music posts.

I have a new account thanks to @meno and my @helpie family.
