Why are these posts valued so highly? They aren't really. So why the payout? Whales.

Note @steemed = @itsascam, and they have been caught with @kushed months ago in the @honeyscribe / @perspective "sock puppet" pumping fiasco. honeyscribe = perspective, but they were pretending to talk to each other like different people, and many whales were colluding to pump their content.

Some know @bernisnaders = @nextgencrypto, who doesn't really care about Steemit.

Users that exposed some behavior months ago, got flagged by some of these accounts, hiding their post from being read by more users, until @ned and @dantheman upvoted the post and made it visible again:

👎 steemactioncop, the-illuminati, noscope, knozaki2015, dashpaymag, ranko-k, smooth.witness, kushed, steemed, steemroller, smooth, itsascam

Pump it up, and collect the curation rewards. That's how many whales behave. They don't value and judge the content itself.

This is a problem for the future of Steemit.
How do these posts, 1) add value to Steemit, and 2) merit getting such high rewards while real content creators get crumbs by comparison?

Other whales need to step in and do something to negate these pumped up votes from scammers like @steemed/itsascam, and the others who are doing scammy shit.

Whales, please start to think about the platform first, not your pockets.
