This is a White Bottlebrush bush that I have growing next to my pond. First thing in the spring time the bush is covered with these blossoms that look like little brushes.

I have always loved bottle brush plants,, not sure if I remember seeing white ones mostly I remember red

In NZ it's very common I remember seeing the red bottle brush all over the place 😎

Will have to share some with you @sunscape. Red bottle brushes are one of the most popular natives that people are growing in their own gardens now, as they are so hardy ~ And attract the bees like no other plant I know.
I have two in pots at the moment and I'm just waiting for them to tell me where they want to be. 🦋

I know what it is like to raise plants. I did it my whole life and gave up the nursery end about 7 years ago. It got to be too hard for my husband and I at our ages. Now we are working at downsizing the amount of work in our gardens too. They are over 20 years old, very full and a ton of work. We have every foot of our property edged in gardens and landscaping. Our home is surrounded.... lol Have a great week dear.

Time to photograph and 'smell the roses' now after having taken care of them for so long. A well established garden is such a reward now for all the work that went into it. 🦋

I so agree, I have been taking tons of photos and just sitting on the back porch enjoying the view. The birds, bees and butterflies are everywhere, I am going to miss seeing the hummingbirds though. They leave in a week or so for warmer weather.
