The World Health Organization (WHO) has officially confirmed the game is considered a neurological disease.

According to Wccftech , in the next year (2018), WHO will officially refer to gaming as a form of neuropathy.

The World Health Organization (WHO), established in 1946 as a United Nations agency to take care of the health of the people of the world. WHO will publish the International Classification of Diseases in 2018 - the most recent revision of this table (ICD-10) adopted in May 1990.

An online beta version for ICD-11 and WHO describes game addiction as a type of mental disorder, behavioral or impulse control disorder. The following is a detailed description of WHO:

"Gaming addiction is a continuous or frequent game play (digital game or video game) that can be online (ie via the internet) or offline, expressed in:

  1. Deficiencies in gaming controls: examples of frequency, intensity, time off, context ...

  2. Prioritize gaming over other activities in life.

Continue or escalate the game despite the appearance of negative consequences.

This behavior is severe enough to result in significant impairment in the areas of personal, family, social, educational, occupational or other areas. Psychiatric behavior due to game addiction may appear repeatedly or repeatedly and repeatedly. The identification of addiction-related mental disorders as well as related behaviors should be monitored for a period of at least 12 months to perform the diagnosis. However, if a person responds fully to the signs, the diagnosis can be made in a shorter time. "

Game addiction has been included in the WHO list. However, many researchers believe that many other potential addictions are still not listed by the WHO as addictive to the Internet or addiction.

This announcement by the WHO means that we should review our behavior and our loved ones if we have the same symptoms as we did when playing a game, to see if we are addicted to gaming as a manifestation of mental illness. or not?
