Energies in Witchcraft

Greetings,

In Witchcraft, you don't pray for a god to perform tasks for you. You act yourself.
You manipulate, concentrate engery waves in order to achieve a goal.

Energy in witchcraft is the key.

While doing a ritual, you're investing time, energy, you do not call for a miracle, you build a chain reaction.

Look at your body, you are a battery, energy flows in each of your cells, the best example is your nerves, if you feel pain, heat, or if you can move a finger, it's because your brains send an electric impulse.
That electric impulse is energy.

But the universe, the world, the air around us is charged with plenty of various energies, you job is to transform them into what you want to happen.

This explains also why, a ritual you made yourself, from a to z, will work so much better than a found ritual on the net. As you invest your own energy, you fix your own images and feelings into the one you crate.

Beware, your inner energy is not limitless, think about recharging : Resting is important, you can also use grounding techniques.

On this point I will disagree. While grounding and rest are necessary, it is not due to a lack of energy. Every particle of creation is composed of pure energy. Einstein's e=mc^2. Even in a vacuum of empty space particles are popping in and out of existence which shows that even a vacuum is full of energy. The only limit is what the practitioner feels to be their limit.

The purpose of grounding then becomes a practice to bring the mage to the centre of their being, or the centre of creation as I see it, to balance the energies within oneself and the greater collective conscience, and creating homeostasis of that which is outside and that which is within the mage.

Be the structure, lead the way,
for the energies to flow.
Your intentions have to stay:
that's the mages true role.

I will state, that I agree,
which led to this peotry ;-)

You're correct I hsould have used a sentence explaing more "fatigue" than energy
