Wikeleaks live stream, why it failed.

in wikileaks •  8 years ago

It turns out that the reason most Americans, and probably many non-Americans too, the rumors that the live stream would lead o the destruction of Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, have turned out to be false.

Not only is nothing new being delivered tonight, but Assange and the on stage spokesperson for wikileaks both claimed the rumors started from and as a misquoting and that while future leaks will involve the 2016 election, nothing necessarily destructive will be included.

All things relating to the future releases of Wikileaks information was purposefully and most annoyingly vague.

The whole stream was also delayed, slow, poorly put together, unprofessional and boring.

Personally the only part I enjoyed was the 10 year anniversary video, but what about you? Let me know your thoughts on the presentation below.

Assange lost a lot of standing with me. I stayed up to 3 AM for nothing. Next time I'll read about it after it filters through the media. What a big dodo.

Thanks, you resumed my thoughts.

Yes, it was very disappointing. But then again, I have always suspected it all could just be theater anyway.

Who knows, the truth is becoming more and more evasive lol...

Looks like he took a page from the Trump playbook and trolled the media :)

And the alt-media, and his own/wikileaks followers, and anyone who loathes Clinton...

Damn shame.

Maybe people are beginning to confuse the truth with what they want to be true. Wikileaks seems like just another jagoff media grabbing for ratings.

I mean, I understand that ratings are important for their own solvency, and ability to reach people, but still, what a waste.
