As you can see, the Senate Intelligence Committee offered no explanation or evidence to prove that the publisher Wikileaks is a 'hostile non-state intelligence agency' like they claim. But it was voted for by a margin of 14-1, and if approved in Congress could potentially allow the US intelligence community to prosecute Americans who donate to Wikileaks or associate with the organisation.

The precedent it would set is damaging beyond belief. Wikileaks is a media organisation like any other. Major newspapers have famously published classified documents in the past (think of the Washington Post during Watergate, or CBS News when it showed the photos of the Abu Ghraib torture victims in Iraq). What is to stop the CIA or FBI covertly proscribing these outlets like Wikileaks?

The potential repercussions are chilling.

The First Amendment is under attack.

These are the Senators who voted for this stunt. Ron Wyden was the sole dissenter.

Geez. Give me a break. You're right. The 1st amendment is under attack. This is all leading somewhere. It's a game of chess.

I am delighted. Thank you for continuing to write.

Those days of secrecy are over, we are now in a time zone that we can know the news, before its on the news.
SO even if the label wiki to what ever, then still there news will be spread on a blockchain network in the near future.
They can only sit back and see the world reach enlightenment. The secret service agencies are on the Titanic...

that is a direct response for Julian Assange seeking to meet with PDT directly to reveal unpublished material in his possession in exchange for a pardon and a WH media pass. I'd do it if I were PDT. Assange is batting 1.000
