I love wild flowers, so I picked up a small bag of mixed wild flowers at the Dollar Store. Every year, I got flowers that I can't find their identity on Google, but it is absolutely fun to watch them grow.

This one came up and it was pretty! I tried to Google purple flower, blue flower, flower with star-like leaves, etc..and still can't find their name.

I enjoy watching it grows until it is all gone. There are other wild flowers coming, and I can't wait to see what they are.

Lupine. They are lovely, and will spread like a weed so if you don't want them everywhere, remove the dead blossoms before they form seeds.

Thank you! I grow it in a container and there was only one top flower..

I agree Lupine. We have wild Golden Lupine here in Cali

Thanks @steven-patrick ! Is the leaf looking like mine? I thought lupine has one tall stalk of flowers like in your photo, and mine has only one top flower.

If you click through to my post there are some pictures that show the leaves. Similar - 7 leaf clusters. And there is a photo that shows a bloom similar to yours without the tall stalk yet. This is what makes identifying plants so difficult I think. They can look so different through the cycle of blooming. I think yours has just started. Plus there is the problem of different similar varieties that are almost the same but slightly different.

Thank you! Although the leaves in your photo is a little different, but I agree with you, they are similar. And then the regions we are in too..

How gentle it looks. And of course, its my fave color! ❤❤❤
