Dulhajra Safari Park of Cox's Bazar: Deer Breeding center and Wildlife Sanctuary

Dulhajra Safari Park is one of the many tourist centers and tourist spots in Cox's Bazar. Dulhajara Safari Park, Bangabandhu Safari Park is located 48 kilometers north of Cox's Bazar Sadar upazila and 10 kilometers south of Chakoria police station in Dulahajara block of Fasikkhali range of forest department. Dulhajra Safari Park located in 900 hectares, many of them refuse to say this park as Safari Park. Because they think that artificial infrastructures have been built instead of the natural infrastructure.

Some of the features of Safari Park are said to be missing in Dulhajra Safari Park. Dulhajara became a hare breeding center in 1999 by the Safari Park Forest and Environment Ministry.

Dulhajra Safari Park is established as a deer breeding center with 8 blocks of Fasiakhali range of forest department, but there are other animals' spec in addition to the deer. There are lions, tigers, bears, fishes and saltwater crocodiles, elephants, hippo, monkeys, maya deer, chitra deer and para deer. Watch Tower has been set up here for tourists' convenience. In the watch tower, the observation can be enjoyed in the whole park with the free flow of animals and enjoy the natural beauty. Besides, the rest room for the tourists have been built here for the rest and dormitories.
