No electronic device can not fully operate without an operating system installed on it, because it allows users without special technical skills to perform certain actions, for example, to visit websites or play games. The most popular OS for computers and laptops is now Windows 10, but soon everything will change, as the American Corporation Microsoft will release a new one that runs twice as fast, but this is not its only advantage.
It is no secret that the tenth "Windows" has a lot of different shortcomings, and to get rid of such Microsoft is in no hurry, and the proof of this is the fact that for almost four years of presence of Windows 10 on the market, this platform, unfortunately, has not become really more convenient or better in terms of the usual user experience. Realizing that this is NOT to the taste of many, the American Corporation decided to develop a new operating system, and it is called Lite OS. Most likely, this is its code name, but there is no evidence of this fact yet.
It is known that the operating system of the new generation is completely different from the existing Windows 10. The interface in it has become much more simple and understandable, that is, it is focused on ordinary users, and not on professional experts who understand all the nuances. Users are even waiting for a new start menu, which is better than the old one in all respects. Due to the significantly reduced number of background processes Lite OS runs twice as fast as the tenth "Windows", and feel the difference all users will be able to perform even simple tasks.
The first time the new platform, and this should be released in the summer of this year, will only support PWA and UWP apps, but then, by the time the final version is released, Microsoft will add compatibility with classic Win32 programs, and this will make the new operating system a full replacement for Windows 10. Much attention in the new SOFTWARE was paid to the support of voice control using the virtual assistant Cortana, but it still does not work well enough, so even the fact of its presence can not be called useful.
