in wine •  7 years ago

Because of my work in the wine and drink industry, I get to attend some wine tasting events. This one was in Westen Hotel Nairobi. I was delighted to be invited because I would meet with other people industry. We had so much fun. We tasted a lot of food and wine. There were different wine distributors and they each had a stand and people would walk to every stand and present their wine.

The wines we tried : Seccolina Hugo, Rosso Nobile Al Ciocollata (Germany), Apaltagua Riesling Reserva, Apaltagua Merlot Reserva (Chile)Robert Mondavi Woodbridge Chardonnay 2012 (France), Norton Malbec 2014 (Argentina), Fish Hoek Pinotage (South Africa), Robert Mondavi Woodbridge (America), Fragolino Bianco, White, Fragolino Rosso – Red, Gavi, Barbera Del Monferrato

We had different bitings paired with the wines. For example, the spicy chicken wings were paired with the heavier bodies and spicy reds.
