Wise Enough to Understand

Ephesians 5:17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Wisdom comes with understanding, but foolishness is the origin of mistakes. To be wise, we must constantly command the presence of the only wise God. Christ is the wisdom and power of God(1Cor.1:24) and nobody can be genuinely wise without Him. Today, the Holy Spirit gives us the perfect solution to life. We must first discard every act of foolishness. It's foolish to accumulate wealth and ignore the cry of the needy. It's foolish to dwell in past victories and slack in the kingdom business of today. It's foolish to dwell in sin and expect the manifestation of the power of God. The power of God works in the domain of wisdom and thus it's accessible to a wise vessel.

The Almighty God expects us to live in full understanding of His will. Do you understand His will for your ministry, career, marriage, job, friendship or family? Do you understand His will for you right where you are? Do you understand His will over your decisions? Lack of understanding of His will is too dangerous to consider. Destinies are destroyed because men entered His will with lack of understanding.
Only the owner of the will can grant understanding. Don't rush into what He called you to do without seeking understanding from the Almighty. Seek for wisdom and understanding today.
It's never too late to make a difference.

Abba Father, thank you for your wisdom and understanding in us. Please forgive us for past foolish acts and grant us higher understanding of your will, in Jesus name. Amen.
