God's word for today: "I am determined to be wise" - but this was beyond me, Ecclesiastes 7:23

Aristotle explains that wisdom is one of the most excellent virtues in man, wisdom is superior to prudence and the wise man is also called prudent man, prudence is practical reason. Wisdom has to do with doing things correctly, so there is a wisdom that comes from experience and another that comes from inspiration. This is why wisdom is considered a divine virtue and not only a human virtue. Wisdom is such an excellent virtue that it cannot be acquired by practice or study as occurs with justice. Thomas Aquinas defines the gift of wisdom as the love of virtue and is one of the seven gifts of the holy spirit that define the integrity of man: "Now eagerly desire the greater gifts", 1 Corinthians 12:31.
The bible explains that wisdom is beyond our efforts, wisdom is a grace, a supernatural gift: "All this I tested by wisdom and I said, ´I am determined to be wise´ - but this was beyond me", Ecclesiastes 7:23.
Although wisdom is a perfection of God, there is a way to approach and achieve it, the gift of fear of God (constancy, firmness, devotion, equanimity, stability): “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; and there is good understanding to all that practice it: and piety toward God is the beginning of discernment”, Proverbs 1:7.

In the New Testament the wise is called "spiritual man" and is at the top of the human spiritual hierarchy over "rational man" and "natural man": “The natural man does not accept the things that come from the spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual man makes judgments of all things, but he himself is not subject to any man’s judgment" 1 Corinthians 2:14-15.
It corresponds to the spiritual man, that is to say, the wise man to order society: "Correspond to the wise to lead and not be led", Aristotle, book of Metaphysics.
