Witness Updates #1 || Perkembangan Sistem Witness-ku

Hi everyone,

Hope this finds you well 😊

Here I am reporting you my first witness-updates. If you are a follower, you would know that I have become a witness, my announcement was just posted the other day, should you like to read it, please click here.

My server has been up for 9 days now, happy to say the coming supports have been tremendous.

We updated the server to HF 19.3 yesterday and a couple of H after, we missed a block. What was supposed to be our first block. A bummer.

So what happened?

We honestly don't know.

There wasn't any errors shown on the logs

The server is running just fine.

After spending hours of investigating, we discussed this issue to a couple of witnesses. Yet, a day after, another missed block.

After lots of discussions, we decided to do a fresh, brand new install on all the servers and go from there.

It's very disheartening. Usually when something bad happens we can see errors and messages leading to the point of failure, however not in this case.

Will make sure to keep you updated.

Thanks again for the trust and the votes. Every missed block is a huge deal to us which we don't take lightly. This is why we made the decision to resetup everything from scratch to ensure things are running fine on our end.

Hai teman!

Bagi yang belum dengar, aku sekarang adalah seorang witness, orang yang bekerja dibelakang layar Steemit.

Kemarin server ku mengikuti update witness-witness senior, karena ada sistem terbaru.

Sayangnya update sistem ini malah bikin aku ketinggalan satu poin, haiyaaaah 🤦

Setelah ngutak-ngatik komputer berjam-jam diikuti diskusi panjang lebar dengan beberapa witness senior, keesokan harinya terjadi lagi. Lagi-lagi tidak dapat satu poin lagi.

Jadi kami memutuskan untuk menata ulang sistem yang kami punya, kembali dari kosong, agar kami tidak ketinggalan poin berikutnya.

Sepertinya DEWA Steemit sedang mengikuti nih 😁 Tunggu berita selanjutnya yak 👍👍👍👍
