Sycamore Tree Bark • White Is White


The Sycamore tree is one of the largest trees found on the East coast. The trunk grows to very large diameters which is also the reason for its unique bark structure. The white patches of bark, scattered in a camouflage effect, are created because of the fast growing trunk stretching the bark and the bark having to infill and patch along the way. A great subject for the Sunday's Anything Goes. I shot this with my iPhone 6S Plus.

Its an unusual surface for a tree!
