Many people have tried to define who a woman is and they have said various things about her. Some believe that a woman is a curse, but the Bible calls her a good thing. Prov. 18:22 says, Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing…. That is to say that the woman is not a curse but a favour from the Lord. Gay marriage has eaten deep into the fabric of modern society and is causing serious havoc to the soul of man. Some men claim that it was immediately Eve came into the Garden that trouble began, implying that the woman brought trouble and they don't want trouble. So they are not going to marry a woman but another man like themselves in order to avoid trouble. Such people are short sighted and completely blind. It is an indication of acute ignorance of the Word of God. God will deliver our generation from this evil, in the name of Jesus.
When the Lord brought Eve to Adam, the man said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh.… Verse 23. So women are good. I pray for every married man that your wife will do you good all the days of your life; she will be a blessing to you and to your children, in the name of Jesus. According to Prov. 18:22, the woman is an invaluable asset. Do we say this just to make women feel good or has God said so? To be sure the woman is an asset everywhere she is found, beginning from the home to the church, the nation and the world at large. In the home, the Bible calls her a builder (Prov. 14:1). It means without the woman, the man can do his best to provide the building materials but the absence of the builder will frustrate the building job. This is why the concept of gay marriage is a foolish idea because parties involved are providers of raw materials, so who will do the building? Can you imagine your life without your mother or sisters? It makes a world of difference growing up with them. They are patient, sacrificial, courageous and so on. Women are indeed irreplaceable.
In the church, they bear the burden of the work of God. Some of them do not have much, but they lay down the little they have. In the nation and the world at large, women undertake great feats and make tremendous impact. Women must therefore be appreciated and allowed to demonstrate the grace of God, especially women who carry the Holy Ghost. You can't undermine them or say there is something they cannot do because they have the capacity of the Holy Spirit. And when He is enthroned, all things can be done.
