THREE WOMEN

The Independent newspaper looked at what 3 women spend their money on. The first of them, Jane, spends all her money at sales and buying a lot of clothes which she probably will never wear. She has 3 wardrobes filled with the clothes.
Sales are a type of sport where she must be the first and the best. “Other people can't understand me, but it is very important for me to buy something on sale”, says Jane.
The second of the three, Maggie, spends a lot of her money on food. And the other woman in the survey, the third one, Paula, spends her cash on her home.
Maggie spends money on food in two ways: She spends $300 a week at the supermarket; and the second way is eating in restaurants.
Jane and Maggie don't save very much. But the other girl in the survey, Paula, saved about $5000 for her wedding last year. She also buys some furniture and other things for the home all the time.
Another thing she spends most money on is make-up and her hair. She has wonderful hair!
