'Run the world' crooner Beyonce who owns the label, Ivy Park, said to have been launched together with British fast fashion company Topshop, but as of recent unfortunately it is falling short of her stated goal to which is to “celebrate every woman and the body she’s in while always striving to be better”.

Despite Beyonce who is ranked 107th on Forbes richest list with her estimated net worth amounting to $6.7 billion, her benevolent wealth is not circulating the hardworking Asian women of Sri Lanka working rigorously like slaves to make fashionable clothes for Beyonce's brand.

As Beyonce statement or believes lies in the interest of women, but it is known that are actions are not especially for the South Asian women working under her and earning 64cent per hour. that is just wicked!

This selfish act by Beyonce was uncovered during last week’s exposé by a British tabloid when the truth was exposed that the asian female workers responsible for the designs and inspirations behind Beyonce's clothing line at MAS Holdings factory in Sri Lanka are totally not profiting from their continuous hard work and it brings to great concern especially when she claims she is in the interest of women empowerment.

Adding to that it was also shared that the women are always living in cramped conditions with communal showers which is shared with men and its unsafe, also certain curfews are made at night and the women do not have any rights of association so stripping them of forming Union or protest towards fighting for improvement to change their unsafe and inhumane conditions.

Ivy Park who is proud of their production outcome on their supplier however do not disagree with the accusations, they are just not ready to take on any responsibility towards changing the unfair outcome of the asians.

When companies such as Ivy Park is sourcing in countries where poverty reigns and also where these cheap slavery practices are the norms for the sole purpose of getting dirt cheap prices for their inputs for maximum profitable outputs. This act continues to happen especially in cases in Bangladesh and India for the sole purpose to profit these fashion companies and as such putting the responsibility on suppliers which seeks to yielding a safe outcome or fair wages for the women workers involved in the production will eventually bring about an awful reality for the women workers.

And as such consumers of the 'Ivy Park' brand product are totally against it and seek only to continue wearing their products if it changes its suppliers and also speak well of those women in the creation of it from those involved in dying the textiles to those assembling the clothes and to those wearing them, if not it is going to be only about celebrating Western women and not all the women in the world which Beyonce aims at.

So who run the world??..share your comments on it.
