Luminous end of autumn / Leuchtendes Herbstende (woodland photography)

The golden colors of autumn are coming to an end. The photos remind us of the time four weeks ago when the change to winter was in full swing.

Die goldenen Farben des Herbstes neigen sich dem Ende entgegen. Die Aufnahmen errinnern uns an die Zeit vor vier Wochen als der Wechsel zum Winter in vollem Gange war.

From the point of view of a mouse there is still a lot to be found in the forest and the supplies are filled up quickly before the frost and then the snow put life into the big break in a few days. From this perspective, the forest floor with the mushrooms, leaves and branches appears like a big mess. As a human, we just go over it without realizing how much life is hidden here.

Aus der Sicht einer Maus gibt es im Wald noch so einiges zu holen und die Vorräte werden noch schnell aufgefüllt bevor in wenigen Tagen der Frost und dann der Schnee das Leben in die große Pause versetzt. Aus dieser Perspektive erscheint der Waldboden mit den Pilzen, Blättern und Zweigen wie ein großes Chaos. Als Mensch gehen wir einfach darüber hinweg ohne zu bemerken wie viel Leben hier verborgen ist.
