weird hobby

I have more than one hobby, but one of them is my love for old stuff, i wish i could say i love vintage or antiques, or louis 15 or something like that, so i could follow a certain style but i dont. I love to go to auction and feel amazed for how little money absolutely beautifull furniture gets sold, amazing ! And than you see a scrubby vintage metal half bleached and broken thing, and they pay half a house for it. It always makes me wonder, how their living rooms look. Facebook has loads of groups about vintage and antiques, and seperated brands even. I am a member of loads of them , and i even moderate 6 of them. I love to see the questions and the answers, it is a continously learn modus. After now a year of 10 of great interest, i think my love lays the most at wood and glass. I could really stare myself simple in a nice cut glass. And the feeling of a good cut peace of wood thrills me. The work someone had in it, the things he was doing during the cut, what type of man or woman, who saw it first? all things that cross my mind by seeing something like that.
