To pity ourselves

The body withdrawals without the love

We are the generation of the ghastly
Mean, cold, just straight up nasty
Putting the innocent ones down
Just to be apart of the popular crowd
We are the generation of the pathetic
Lazy, non-working, non-energetic
Expect things on a silver platter
Never willing to climb the ladder
We are the generation of sneaky
Lying to our lovers by always creeping
We won't learn fake love like that won't work
Dragging our loved ones through the dirt
We are the generation of the stupid
Can't tell up from down, or what any truth is
Trying to bang sense into our minds
Only absorbing migraines of the worst kind
We are the generation of the addicts
Getting our fix like gluttonous ticks
Swelling up until we're nixed
Soaring so high we can float on clouds
Only to come hurtling down
So how can we fail so hard
Hardly any good aces left in our deck of cards
Someone show us the way around
Before we run this generation further into the ground.
