In testing the Pillar beta wallet it reminded me of how important "user stories" are in the development cycle.
They work like this:
As a < type of user >, I want < some goal > so that < some reason >...
The second part is how do we make sure that this is achieved by the engineering team, so we have:
‘it’s done when < Take no assumptions is your friend here - obvious is king >
I'm lucky to have some coding skills so I can kind of talk the same language as the DEV team. However, this process is invaluable.
