Most interesting part of the day… watching the blades turn. Ha ha ha ha

Lol damn i want one of those too! Could prob power my house lol.

Oh ya, power your house and some. They might be on sale in the next few years. I will keep an eye out for ya. 😂😂These things are massive!! It’s kinda creepy standing under the blades as they are turning. They are about 100 feet long. 😳😳

I was 100' 2" last life, so no real intimidation, :D.

Ill give you $500 if you take it down and ship it here :p

Lol, yah i bet "standing under blades

$500 per pound and it’s a deal. ;).

I’m waiting for the day when I see one spin out of control and cause total carnage. Muahahaha.

At a safe but close enough distance of course.

So is the electric grid you work on connected to the wind generators? Great pictures and it was very interesting to get a glimpse into your day.

In a round-a-bout way yes. My company buys power from Bonneville Power Admin. (the government) From their substation it is metered. Connected to that substation is Portland Gas Electric who owns the windmills.

Your blog is really fascinating. It's got a "dirty jobs" vibe to it, except I think you look a little stronger than Mike Rowe. In all seriousness, it's great to read about someone who does real work, from someone who can write, too.

I'm so glad you left a comment so I could follow you back here.

Thanks I’m glad I am able to shed some light on what lineman do to keep the lights on for everyone. I think he did an episode about lineman in Alaska. Those guys are crazy!!

Everything is crazy in Alaska! At least those fires keep you warm, right?

That is the worst work ever!!! Fire damage, my boys down in Cali had a lot of it this year. Me on the other hand, not a single one 😜😜
