China's largest 600 amphibious plane built in China
The first flight of the world's largest amphibious aircraft (capable of avoiding water and land) in China has been successful. The size of the aircraft is approximately equal to Boeing 737.
The amphibious plane flew from Zhuhai Airport, Guangdong, southern China province. The aircraft capable of carrying 50 passengers can fly for 12 hours a day.
Fire extinguishers and rescue operations in the oceans are not the only thing that the aircraft will be used for military purposes. The aircraft may also be used in the controversial South China Sea region.
Chinese state media Xinhua reported that the aircraft was described as 'the guard of the sea and the island'. Flight and flight landing of the first flight of the aircraft is broadcast live on state television. The airplane was welcomed and flagged by the flag.
The aircraft was built for eight years. The maximum capacity of the aircraft is 53.5 tons. There are 17 purchase orders in this aircraft within China.
