Just because you want something to be true, isn’t going to make it true. Just because you’ve heard so much about one thing or another, doesn’t mean you’ve heard enough. Just because you have one comfy set of ideas and they’ve lasted you for years, doesn’t mean they were any good at the start.
The only way you know something is valuable and/or true is if you discover it for yourself. If someone tells you something is valuable or true, then you should check your pockets because they’re probably out to take something from you.
I can’t think of anyone … Not one person who’s famous in any kind of conventional television sort of way who I would trust as far as I could throw them.
They made their choice and so the only reason you are seeing them is because they have made their choice and they have taken the money. It’s simple… if they’re there, and you know their name, it’s because they’re being paid to be there, and the rest of the story is all just window dressing.
Some get to play one side against another or make you think they’re on your side or in some other way convince you they’re on the level. Well, they’re not … none of them are. If they’re famous and they’re rich, they’re not on the level: they’re on the take … and compromised to play the part they are given to play.
