Syria gets chemical bombs dropped on them again from Assad

in world •  7 years ago  (edited)

President Assad of Syria just brutally killed dozens of his own people, AGAIN. This monster dropped chemical weapons that destroyed a village in a horrific and painful method that the world must deal with now.
The dictator has been warn repeatedly by the Obama and now Trump administrations that chemical weapon atracks cross a redline and will not be tolerated. And unlike his predecessor, Present Trump responded last year the prior chemical attack by firing rockets into Syria to weaken their capabilities.
But now this is the second attack, so what should and will the world do? The Syrian people don't deserve to live like this under constant threat by their government. I hope this response, is the last the world will have to do. Assad must go.

This is devastating to read. Innocent women and children slaughtered by their own regime.

I fully expect STRONG leadership from Trump on this. He promised the world that it won't be tolerated.

It's a fine line of punishing them without drawing in Russia and Iran though.

Absolutely, but these are the decisions we elect our leaders to make. I am glad we have the person in office that we do vs the inept leadership that allowed ISIS and Syria to rage out of control for 8 years.

I agree. Trump showed he will do something in his 1st year, when he attacked them.
He will bomb them again or he will send in troops.
Trump is not afraid of drawing Russia in. Russia's economy is weak and can't handle a draw out fight.

Plus we just secured military budget increases in the last bill.

I concur!
