The starting point for the creation of the WORLD WI-FI project was the idea of providing free Internet access. The developers intend to implement such a project by creating a targeted advertising audience and monetizing advertising.
The project team has already gained experience in developing blockchain-based platforms using the example of Radius Wi-Fi, which provides wireless Internet access, and Adrenta, a Wi-Fi advertising operator. The platform allows advertisers to independently form their audience by such criteria as age and gender, as well as geographical location, including streets and buildings. Unlike advertising in social networks and Internet search engines, advertising from WORLD WI-FI will be broadcasted immediately before being posted online, and the cost of its placement will be several times lower. At the same time, the statistics of advertisements will be 100% authentic, which will allow analyzing the success of one or another advertising campaign. The history of the views will be preserved in the blockchain - and therefore it will not be possible to falsify it.
Platform Members
The platform will interact with three groups of participants: Internet users, router owners and advertisers. Any router owner, whether an individual or a provider, can provide Internet access to other users. By granting access to other people, a user does not provide the access to his/her computer, so that the data remains under protection. For each connection, a provider will receive a fee in the form of platform tokens. For Internet users, access will be free, but they will have to view the advertisement before getting it. Advertisers will pay providers for placing their content at their access point. Thus, any advertisement will be viewed, not lost on numerous advertising platforms.
The principle of the WORLD WI-FI network
WORLD WI-FI collects, analyzes and stores information about viewing advertising content. Based on the received data, the service forms the target audience and adapts the principles of work so that the advertisement corresponds to a user’s profile.
A provider should connect to the platform and install the software. After that, he/she will be able to provide access to the Internet to other users and receive a reward for viewing the advertisement. If necessary, in the future a provider will be able to establish the criteria for the displayed advertising content.
An advertiser confirms its agreement with the terms of the contract and acquires the required number of tokens. After that, an advertiser can launch an advertising campaign and receive a statistical report.
Affiliate program
In order to expand its audience, the platform creators implement a referral program in order to allow every active user to earn on participation.
In order to become the member of the platform, the owner of the router should receive an invitation. Such an invitation is considered a link to WORLD WI-FI wallet. the owners of accounts list the advertising commission to those who connected them to the network. A certain percentage will be paid for connection of new routers to the platform.

The project team set a challenging goal, that is to create an extensive public Wi-Fi network. In terms of technologies the project has a profound basis to achieve this goal. Though the success of the project heavily depends on its potential participants. The more people will join the platform, the greater geographical region will be covered with the Wi-Fi network. The main principle for the system operation is the monetization of the advertising, that is how the platform enables a free Wi-Fi access and brings profits to providers.
