Obliterum Guide ?!How to make?! Patch 7.2.5

Hi Steemers!

It is a good summerday to write an other guide.

Now, I will talking about one of the most popular and profitable market, it is called Obliterum.

Some basic info about it:
So what is Obliterum exactly?

  • Firstly, Obliterum is an item that helps you upgrade one of your crafted item by 5ilvl if you have 2 Blood of Sargeras/BoS/
In Patch 7.2.5 max ilvl is 900.

  • Obliterum requires a quest to be complete. After the quest is done, it will unlock the "Obliterum Forge", so you can start
    obliterate items, and make Obliterum.

  • When you destroy an item there you will get obliterum ash./100 Obliterum Ash/1 Obliterum/.

The most profitable item list, a few advice and my experience:

Enchant Ring - Binding of (Mastery/Haste/Versatility/Crit.)
Cost to make: 4 Chaos Crystal, 35 Arkhana.
Avg. ash per Obliterate: 130
Obliterum cost with this method: (4ChaosCrystalPrice + 35ArkhanaPrice)/1.3

Notes: This is probably the most popular Obliterum method. It's usually also done by disenchanting crafted gear (rings/bracers) to get the Leylight shards to turn into Arkhana, although it usually is profitable with this process.

Rugged Skullblasters
Cost to make: 20 Infernal Brimstone, 6 Hardened Felglass, 200 Stonehide Leather, 2 Sniping Scope
Avg. ash per Obliterate: 530
Obliterum cost with this method: (20BrimstonePrice + 6FelglassPrice+200*LeatherPrice + 9.2)/5.3

Notes: this method is great if you want to make some quick gold with Obliterum, because you get so much ash per item. It's it bit harder to sustain than the Enchanting method though because the quantity of felglass and Brimstone is usually a lot lower than Chaos Crystal and Leylight Shards (+ silk/etc.). Also if you find the leather price too expensive you can check the price for the other types too. I've done a decent number of Cloth ones (being a tailor helps) and a couple mail ones.

Ancient Healing Potion
Cost to make: 2.67 Yseralline Seed
Avg. ash per Obliterate: 1.5
Obliterum cost with this method: 178*SeedCost

Notes: This is very slow way of making Obliterum, but it usually more profitable than the others. If you ever find yourself wanting to hit a button repeatedly for a few hours this is the shuffle for you. Tip: Because of this is so boring i always watch series during hitting the button.

Infernal Alchemist Stone
Cost to make: 0.8 Infernal Brimstone, 4.17 Felwort, 2.5 Blood of Sargeras. (Price per trinket after procs)
Avg. ash per Obliterate: 145 /it was nerfed from 230 then buffed then nerfed again/
Obliterum cost with this method: (BrimstonePrice + 5FelwortPrice + 3BloodPrice)/1.74

Notes: This is another popular method, but the obvious problem with it is that you need to use Bloods, so it's more of a way of calculating the value you can get per blood compared with other methods. You can also consider tipping alchemists for their bloods to make this trinket for you.

If you want to calculate your profits you can do
ObliterumPrice*0.95 - ObliterumCost
To calculate what profit you'll get per Obliterum. There are a couple other methods I haven't gone over (like JC gems or the other enchants) but these are probably the most important to know about.

See you in the next guide!
Cheers!
