Who Loved Wrestling Growing Up? Who Was your Favorite?

This is the Ultimate Warrior, and if you don't know who he is...then you seriously SUCK!

Growing up wrestling was my shit man, who remembers the old school WWF which is now called WWE and all of our favorite wrestlers? I haven't really watched wrestling since like the Stone Cold Steve Austin era...but man that shit used to be bad ass. I used to have wreslting bed sheets, wrestling under wear, hulk hogan action figures and the whole nine! I remember waking up on Saturday (or was it Sunday?) mornings to watch WWF Superstars, i used to be so fuckin' excited to watch that real deal wrestling from my era.

Who remembers that time when Shawn Michaels Super Kicked Marty Jannetty through a window?

Or the time when The Undertaker put the Ultimate Warrior into a casket and locked him in there for hours.

I'm a true old school wrestling head, i don't know how it is these days but for me around the year 2000 or 2001 it started to get boring and kind of seemed like it was getting way too dramatic. Who else feels this way?

My favorite wrestler ever? None other than "The Excellence of Execution" Bret "The Hitman" Hart.

I love watching The Hitman wrestle when i was a kid, he had some of the dopest moves in the ring. That sharpshooter finishing move was something I was always trying to do to my friends lol.

Who remembers when Lux Luger body slammed Yuko Zuna at the Intrepid in NYC? I DO! Cause i watched pretty much every wrestling sporting event in the 90's. I missed some pay-per-views though because my mom didn't want to pay the $50 lol.

I was even a fan of the WCW wrestling too, let's not forget when Hogan, Savage, Hall, & Nash formed the NWO....this was a EPIC time in wrestling to me. For a while i wasn't even watching Monday Night Raw anymore.

You can't tell me these dudes weren't bad ass man

And who remembers the 1.2.3 Kid? He became a big wrestler named X-Pac, and part of the NWO..

|

His first big match was against none other than Razor Ramon, who later used his name Scott Hall and was a leader of the NWO..

I remember watching this match, and The 1 2 3 kid was a non-superstar wrestler. Usually these wrestlers we're more like training practice for the bigger name guys, but this day Razor Ramon got his ass kicked and I remember The Kid's finishing move was "The Moonsault". A Backwards flip off the top turnbuckle....bad ass.

I could go on for hours about wrestling back in the days. There we're so many wrestlers that i thought we're dope back then man. The Big Bossman, SGT Slaughter, Ricky the Dragon Steamboat, Papa Shango, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Jake the Snake Roberts, Rick the Model Martel, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, The Junkyard Dog...man i could go on and on with names lol..I miss the good ol days sometimes..Who else out here on SteemIT loved that old school wrestling from the 80's and 90s?

Hahaha good times!!!

I like wrestling but my dad is crazy for it.

The good ol' times when wrestling has more action than drama. Hogan was still my all time favorite :)

dude the good ol days! I used to love this shit bro lol

yeah! used to go to the video rental store with my dad for this shit. we then watch hours of family entertainment of violent men in spandex bashing each other up.. haha

hahhahahaa

The Ultimate Warrior was my favorite hands down! He was a beast and had the most energy.

Hulk hogan is my favorite wrestler. Without him wwe/wwf would not be business today. Since he make wrestling mainstream in the 1980.

Hey can you change your First Name on the Poker League to your Steemit username with the "@" sign included please. Thanks!

This guy loved wrestling growing up, but I may be younger than you! Rock was my all time favorite - he knew how to pump up a crowd (and this little kid)!
