I'm not sure I understand where hobbits come in to this... I'm a hobbit and I read books. I feel like I should be taking offense, but this is only the internet. Also, a picture has taken the place of a thousand words a long time ago.

just me rambling it was the smallest fictional creature that came to mind no offence - yes the picture seems to have replaced a 1000 words - so was wondering where does that leave me as a writer in todays fast past small screened world - just trying to find my feet after a long and i mean l-o-n-g writers block :-(

Believe me, I understand. Putting thoughts into text that doesn't sound like an accident (or mistake) is something I haven't been able to get comfortable in. I hear from people who are surprised when they read certain things that I write, but I don't think I ever feel like I'm satisfied with it. I don't really take offense, I just like calling myself a hobbit. :-)
