Cut a hole in the ceiling of a gallery room, about 200mm diameter.
Place a stone plinth directly below the hole, about 300mm2 by 500mm high.
Have someone drop a crystal ball through the hole, so that it atomizes into a million pieces on impact with the plinth.
Focus a high speed camera on the top of the plinth, so that it takes a picture of the ball a nano-second before impact.
The camera will be directly hooked up to a printer, which will print one copy of the shot.
A visitor can take the print.
Once the remains of the ball have been vacuumed up by an attendant, the process is repeated, forever.
