Forbidding mountains, rising into gray mist.
Frozen wasteland near the arctic.
Slanting sunlight low in the horizon,
Shadows everywhere.
As a whole, it is a desolate image,
And yet,
There is a reflection of sky, a symmetry,
A sense that this is right and complete.
Our world is marvelous and complex,
Filled with beauty, for those with
Eyes to see. If you don’t already
See the beauty, you should
Really get some new eyes.
