Where to Find My Self-Published eBooks

in writing •  6 years ago

Some of you recently suggested I self-publish some of my work and link it so that my followers might buy a few copies to help me through this bear market that crypto is suffering right now. In fact I've already got a couple of offerings published on Amazon in eBook format.

Most of it can be found here. For some strange reason All the Little People is listed separately, here. I don't know why it doesn't appear on my author page with all my other books. I assumed it would self-correct if left alone but it hasn't, I guess that's Amazon QC for you.

Take note: Most of these are novellas, not novels. Perfect Enemy is only 33 pages long. Pressure is 53 pages. Little Robot is a full novel, as is the Oceanova book and All the Little People. Everything else is much shorter, and cheaply priced at 99 cents for that reason.

Little Robot you're getting for free right now in serialized form. But if you've not been with me long enough to read any of the Little People stories, now's your chance to buy them all bundled up neatly into a single novel. It's some of my finest work, and remains the novel I invested the most of myself into.

Don't buy anything you won't read just to help me out. I don't write for that reason, but in order to be read. I would be proud on the other hand if my work resonated so strongly with any of you that you wanted to own some of it on your phone or e-Reader in a more carefully polished form.

AWESOME. gonna have to check it out :)

that awkward moment when this comment made almost as much as my last post :P - maybe I need to focus more on interacting than I do bothering to post ;)

ty for the vote :)
means a lot

I just read Perfect Enemy. You have a new follower. I am gonna read all the Little Robot ;D

Thank you for your support! Little Robot won't disappoint. That, and All the Little People are my finest work to date.

If you are very right I feel you write to be read if you get some extra benefit because not take it, as I would like steemit was released in 2015 that was where in my country gave a preferential dollars for the one that had a credit card, to buy some of your writings but of horror that are the ones I like the most and they call my attention, if I have not been with Tigo for a long time reading your writings for the chance to read a horror novel. What happened to the one you wrote the other day that was a slime or something sticky black?

I want to own all of your titles in hard print to put on my shelf. These are stories I want my daughter to read when she's older. You're one hell of an author, Alex.

Really? I don't know if much of my writing is child friendly to be honest, haha. I won't stop you though. Thanks for the vote of confidence!

Oh no, not until she is much older. I don't think she'd be able to read it until some years from now, and even then, I'm going to wait until she's a bit older to introduce her to it lol. But you are an excellent author, and someone I hope my daughter gets to read someday.

I forgot to comment thank you for giving us the opportunity to read Little Robot in a way that is practically free. I say it for my part that I do not generate any monetary gain, even with a comment of encouragement or simply that you continue to make your mood continue very high. .

Pressure is 53 pages. - - -I can definitely recommend that and it's follow ons. I enjoyed the Little people, but I think Pressure was something completely different. A strange trip and highly interesting read.

I think that's the one I'd most like to see turned into a trilogy of movies. But the special effects cost would be insane, so I'd need to start small and work my way up to that with other stories that are cheaper to film.

Finally we get the chance to read your other published books. I resteemed this post so my interested followers can also make purchases.

I will love to read your books..I know they will be interesting because you are a good writer @alexbeyman

Sweet! I bookmarked the amazon links for later on, I'll definitely pick up a thing or two when I have the money. (Not just to support you, but because I enjoy your writing.)

Also, I love Amazon reviews for how fucking dumb/useless they are. Looked at that one star review on Little Robot and you can tell the person probably didn't even bother to read the book, they just wanted to be shitty and try to jab at you. I've noticed a large trend of that happening with Authors that sell on Amazon. One of my favorite Authors usually writes a small blog post every once and awhile with some of his favorite reviews that are similar to how dumb that one is.

Yeah, I have one revenge review on Inkitt for Down in the Steam Tunnels by a guy who pretended to be an english professor at a university which I then called to confirm that they employed nobody by that name. His response? That his little brother had gotten on the computer and done it.

Hahahahaha. Pathetic. How do people even live their lives doing shit like that? It's honestly just sad to even think about, man.

I think there are distribution restrictions on each of these books. When I view them in the browser I get "not available for purchase". When I open them in the Amazon App, I get asked if I want to switch countries. I guess for some reason, Amazon (or you) has blocked distribution to the EU.

I haven't, to my knowledge. I'll look into it though, thanks for the heads up.

Looked into it some more. Think I figured out why and how Amazon does this. I did a blog post on the subject that I hope explains it. Seems the best way to go here on steemit is to do a whole array of links to each of the Amazon sites. Other social media such as Twitter are definetely a problem though.

Managed to get a copy of Little Robot, but only by searching for it in the mobile app.If / when you branch out, I'll get a copy of some of your other work as well, as soon as I can get it from Kobo.

That is one unfair one-star review you have there, damn. I've been wanting to get back to writing non-goodreads reviews again , if you like I'll put you on my to-do list. Used to do a review once a week on Goodreads, but when after banging heads with a mod, I deleted my account and over a hundred reviews just got deleted as well, I got a bit demotivated about doing any reviews anymore.

I never write praise only or criticism only reviews, so there will be some stuff in there that you might not like hearing, but it will be a heck of a lot more nuanced and friendly than the one you have now.

Just so long as it's honest. And yeah, it's a shame how one sour person can have such a harmful effect on a person or platform when they have just a little bit of power over you.

Thabks for this iv been interested in getting some of your material for awhile now. Good job thanks il defs be looking into it.

Yes........ is a great news from you that at last you got the write up ready for everyone ready to read I guess more of the achievements are on the way........ Relax as you have them in series

Your work is great. I definitely will get a copy of little robot...am broke now but that's a certain purchase for me

Good luck. Maybe the next one will publish your book.
You are an inspiration.....to accept rejection as a part of the process and continue to be positive.

This appears to be a comment copied from under a different post.

The mistake has happened, Sir, and I will never do such a thing, please, please and take the flag

Ok, I removed it. But don't ever do that again please.
