My very first valentine was during the senior years of my high school or secondary school as it is popularly known around here. I was quite young then, talking about age, but had an appealing physic. The young man that made my day was an old friend who just recently had shown interest just some days before valentine and since I never thought of him in that way, I didn’t hold up many expectations from him concerning the outing.
On the valentine day he requested for outing with me to an amusement park close by and we sat in the middle of the park brushing the green grasses with warm caresses. More like a picnic, he brought a blanket, bug spray, a flashlight, a pizza, and all of my favorite drinks. We spent hours together. It was exciting because unlike many valentine outings, we were completely alone and were able to have heart to heart conversations and really get to know ourselves better. We stayed as far away from our phones as possible. Nothing much; just eating, talking, and stargazing. It was such an surprising, yet romantic experience.
