Marriage is beautiful, trust me on this though am not yet married, that sound funny Uhm? Never bother 'cos I was raised by the most awesome couple 👫 👫 who are really a shinning example of a perfect marriage but the outside world is a sharp contrast to what happens at home here, we hear neighbors fight cat and dog right in front of there children and sometimes my parent has to be called to settle the quarrel, it saddens my heart to see this and am disturbed all the time by it because the children later finds life difficult and in expressing themselves among there mates, they will be scared to talk much lest they are bullied using there parent past, and that's a very horrible circumstances, it's from here you have low self esteem, abusive and lousy children, drugs addiction and finally suicide, a very sad occurrence that liters the society all thanks to the single act of a couple who could not hold themself together.

Marriage is meant to be enjoyed, it should be heaven on earth but what we have today is the opposite, a frequent all time high rate of divorce doubling itself every year, precipitating into broken homes, broken homes make a broken child and such child make a broken society. The free terminability of marriage changes the definition of marriage and incraeses the rate of divorce and divorce today is affected by the relative ease of legal divorce.
Marriage has been viewed by conservative religious body as indisoluble, while this help to reduce divorce it increases and encouraged abuse in marriage, divorce on-the other hand is made very easy at the law court and gives a kind of an unending freedom to home-breaking a family.

Divorce causes unhappiness and economic instability for men, women, and children. Moreover, society’s acceptance of a high divorce rate has damaged relationships between men and women and has weakened the institution of marriage, which is the foundation of a stable society.

Divorce Harms Children and they are deeply affected when their parents divorce. Psychological distress, poor academic performance, teenage pregnancy, and delinquency occur more often among children of divorce than among youths from stable families. In addition, children with divorced parents are more likely to experience marital problems as adults. Also children from multiple-divorce families are even more troubled than children from single-divorce families. The emotionally unstable environment that these children face as they adjust to new stepfamilies, changing households, and their parents’ subsequent breakups makes them particularly vulnerable to anxiety, depression, and future relationship problems.

By now our society should be geared up to face the reality of divorce been a cancer in the society, it should be discouraged totally except in some rare cases, the old oath saying "Forever for worse" should be very well stressed and strengthened, Marriage counseling should be made readily available to new and existing couples, religious organizations should be made to see the menace as something they can actually control and influence positively, with this measures and many more I believe with time we will be having decreased number of divorce parent in the society.
