Life's always been tough. And off-late its been furthermore than in past.
I guess that is the story most of we commoners have. Each of us do not get time to stop complaining about how tough our life is and how miserable it has been getting in recent times. But the point is that life is actually not tough. It is our negative and pessimistic thoughts that eventually turn our lifes in to those of hardship.
The logic is really simple. Just because we do not have enough money to buy all that we want and would like does not mean our life is tough. It also does not mean that by not having those objects we do not become somebody inferiror or by somehow procuring them, become superior.
Instead we all use all our will in thinking about those unachievable objects and push ourselves into imposed depression. With depression comes bad luck due to low motivation and focus. And the cycle continues, we end up missing out on even those simple things, which we could easily achieve and live a peaceful life.
I know that I'm talking a lot of Gyan but I seriously believe that no matter how lonely you feel, no matter how bad things get, there should always be hope for positivity. If it is night right now, it will also be morning after 12 hours. A bad phase will always be followed by a good phase. But, if that is so, why isn't that a common man like me never gets to see that good phase?
The answer is again simple, we are so busy being depressed that we hardly notice the good times passing away. And, hence, it seems like a perennial badphase.
So the solution is obvious. Live and enjoy your good times. Firstly, notice your good phases. In your bad phases, learn as many things as possible and await for good times, work hard, enjoy the stress. And to help you through this use simple tools such as Google Calendar.
Google Calendar lets you record birthdays, events, reminders and now a new addition: Goals.
For godsake, please do note all your family members and friends birthdays. wish them, they do help in taking out the depression and loneliness, which threatens to crush your heart.
Next do keep important stuff as Events and Reminders in your calendar. Sync this calendar to your phone and keep track of your work. Trust me completing your tasks in time alone can keep you happy and let you live life peacefully.
Finally, add some Goals in your calendar.
Try having a proper ME Time. The Calendar also learns your best times, based on location, timing and your adjustments of time. Let it learn what suits you and remind you. Trust me, this is one sureshot way to kill your loneliness.
Add other goals such as reading books, playing a sport, exercising and aim to get fit both physically and mentally.
Always hope for things to look up and one day they will. Seems funny? Well, it is not really funny. When we can make things bad by being depressed and lonely, why can't things be better by being cheerful and proactive.
I just shared my thoughts, and yeah am super excited to use Google Calendar's Goals feature. Below are some of the images I got off the net. (Feeling lazy to take screenshots and share them!)
