Why does old love always win over new love?
Is it the "i already know" this person, their abilities and capabilities that fuels it or the laziness to pursue something new.
Is it that we are just afraid to try new things and give this new love a chance to blossom like a flower in the sunlight?
Is it that we just dont want to waste our time feeding and watching these new feelings grow and mature?
Often times we choose to nuture the old flame instead of lighting a new one .
Is it that its easier to blow back to life the dying flame than letting it go to moot than gathering new sticks and starting the fire all over again?
These questions i ask and i know answers would vary but still i cant help but ask.....why does old love always conquer new love? Is it that the new love is not real enough or strong enough or just simply old enough?
How can new love thrive if we never give it a fighting chance from the start?
We keep going back to old love and old flames and old wines because we already know the taste and know how the fire would burn and how the love would feel.a25630d285e3c1919e968ac3147e667a.jpg
