Hello everybody. How ya'll doin'? Today I bring forth my first post before you, apparently the second one if you count the INTRODUCTORY POST as well. I think everybody knows about the great rapper TUPAC SHAKUR. But only few people know what really happened to him. So this post is about the epic unsolved death mystery of TUPAC AMARU SHAKUR
Making his way into the field of rap, TUPAC SHAKUR was one of the great pioneers of rap. Some of my favorite rappers of that time are ICE CUBE, BIGGIE, EAZY-E, DR. DRE. But the impression Tupac had on me is indescribable. This "ALL EYEZ ON ME" artist came out to be a bold and fierce figure that wished to change the game forever. He did succed to do so but did not live to see it.
"I think anybody who has something to do with hip-hop and loved the music had a sense of mourning for a long time"
" I cried like my mother cried when MARVIN GAYE died"
THE VIDEO OF THE WHOLE INTERVIEW IS GIVEN BELOW
Tupac Shakur was an artist of Death Row Records founded by SUGE KNIGHT. The record label instantly became a big sensation by releasing many multi-platinum hip-hop albums from West Coast-based artists. The record label had a huge fall after the death of 2PAC.
On September 7, 1996, Tupac was at Las Vegas. He had gone there to attend the fight of a great fighter MIKE TYSON who was a friend of the rapper with the co-founder of the Death Row Record label Suge Knight, his bodyguard Frank Alexander and a bunch of other people. Alexander was quite perturbed when he found out that the guests were not allowed to bring guns or any weapons into Knight's 662 Club, where a party was planned after the fight. He was afraid that if something was gonna go wrong, he would not have any weapons to fight the situation off.
The fight was on and Mike Tyson knocked Bruce Seldon out in the first round. After some time the Knight associate Travon Lane came upto Tupac and murmured something to him. Soon after he had heard from Travon, Tupac left quickly. Frank Alexander was close behind Tupac but lost his track. When he saw Tupac at last, he was in a fight with a man named Orlando Anderson, who was linked to the Los Angeles-based South Side Crips gang. Alexander with the hotel crew were successful to break the fight between the two. After this fight, the Death Row crew returned to their prefered staying place in Vegas named Luxor.
After this, 2Pac and other crew members got ready to go to the party at 662. Alexander tried to convince Tupac not to go alone and to go with him. Tupac rejected his proposal and said that he would be driving Pacc's girlfriend Kidada Jones' car to drive the Outlawz, his backup group, to the club. He, however, hopped in the BMW with Suge Knight and frank followed behind.
Tupac was sitting at the passanger seat and Suge was driving the car. They were blasting music in the car, playing different songs and enjoying the night. They were soon stopped by a police officer. Suge got out of the car and opened the trunk as instructed by the officer. Seeing nothing in the trunk, the officer told them to go. God knows what he was searching for. Suge got inside the car and started driving normally. Frank who was behind Suge's car was seeing all this.
At nearly 11 p.m they reached the second intersection. They were stopped by the red light of the traffic signal. In no time, a white Cadillac pulled up next to Suge's car. A hand holding a gun poked out of the window and fired 15 bullets pointing towards Tupac. Frank got out of the car. Suge was also injured and Tupac's body was pierced by four bullets. The tire was blown off too. Without a second thought, Suge started the car and drove Tupac to the nearest hospital but couldn't make it because of the blown out tire. The car was being stopped and Frank with police and paramedics reached the scene. The Cadillac disappeared from the scene. The murder's face was not being spotted by anyone. Poor pac! He was helpless.
"I still don't know who the shooter is, and as soon as they stopped, almost all the car doors go flying open,"
Tayannah Lee McQuillar and Frank Johnson pulled Tupac Shakur out of the car and laid him on the ground.
" Frank, I can't breathe, I can't breathe."
Said the rapper and then they knew that he was gone in deep sleep. That was it. The Great Rapper Tupac Shakur had gone at the age of 25 only.
Its been almost two decades since Tupac was murdered. Till this day his murder remains unsolved. 9 Platinum albums, 7 Posthumous albums, 75 million albums sold, 713 songs, 7 movies all by the age of 25.
Let us all take some time to remember Tupac Shakur and his contribution to the society. He was a great person indeed. We all love him. May his soul Rest In Peace
