My first Valentine's Day.
When I was 14 years old, I had my first formal girlfriend and with her I lived my first Valentine's Day. I’m one of the people who believes that in a loving relationship, the least important thing is material, but I was so excited about my girlfriend that I wanted to give her the best: I wanted to give her a huge surprise for Valentine's Day.
Luckily, one of my best friends was in the same situation as me, so we decided to go together to find the best gifts for our girls. Our budget was not very big, but that did not discourage us.
We walked for 7 hours until finally we found the perfect gifts for them. My best friend and I were so excited that we couldn’t wait until February 14th. We felt like the luckiest kids in the world ... but just one month after Valentine's Day, both girls ended up with us, breaking our hearts.
From this story I learned two things: 1. Not because it is the first love means that it will be forever and 2. Among friends, any experience becomes a fun memory.
