The U.S. is as sclerotic as the EU but it still has the dominant trade and reserve assets. So, Europe will let loose first before the U.S. What's happening here is a brewing civil war stoked cynically by the political and media classes.

Imho, the civil war you speak of is not going to be confined to the US though. The same classes are in control everywhere ...they are fomenting that same war everywhere in different ways. These 'geo-interesting' political bombshells you speak of in your post are great to see because they confuse the powers that be, and, for those who aren't blinded, we can see there is finally movement even if it seems random. thanks again. stefan.
