Hey @femioladun this is a great question you pose here so please allow me to add my thoughts. When I write I like to come up with at least a vague idea of what I want the story to be about. Then, I'll start to formulate a broad plot, so I can allow it to take it's own shape as the story progresses. After that, I'll spend the most time developing characters that would fit best within the plot and let them lead the way in terms of story direction, events that take place, and climax of the story, among other aspects.
