Debunking Another Meme.

Well, I came across one tonight that has my blood boiling and decided to rip it apart.

Let me make it clear, I am not a Democrat, or a Republican.

I swear to the gods above, Facebook turns people into a frothing mass of stupid, ready to believe whatever they read.

Let's take this one point by point, starting with blaming this on the Democrats. Other memes try to put it specifically on Bill Clinton.

Can you see the date on this thing? 2002. Who was President in 2002? Not Clinton! War Criminal George W. Bush was!

Who held the House in 2002? The Republicans.

Who held the Senate in 2002? The Republicans.

They are stirring the shit pot. Divide and conquor. Make everything the Democrats fault so the Trump supporters don't have to feel they're in the wrong.

Next point.

People are using this meme to claim that there was already a law in place, decreeing the forcible removal of immigrant children from their parents.

Read it. If you still think it says they can take kids from their Mama and Papa, wipe the propoganda from your eyes and read it again.

You do not use "Or" you use "And". So if A AND B AND B: 1 AND B:2 are true, THEN the children are to be taken into protective custody.

This law was created to address the huge number of children that were coming into the United States ALONE.

Next point.

Trump and his people claim there is a loop hole in this law, that makes it a law he MUST uphold to arrest immigrants. He claims it is the Democrats fault for not closing this loop hole.

He refuses to entertain any attempts to do so unless it includes funding for his idiotic wall. Yeah. That wall he promised you Mexico would pay for.

He is holding these children hostage.

Now you know. If you see this crap on the book of faces, you can explain why they are so completely and thoroughly wrong.
